Lateran Tour

The Basilica of St. John Lateran is the Cathedral of Rome, and the official seat of Papal power in the city. The tour includes the Basilica, the famous cloisters, and the Scala Sancta (the steps from the Palace of Pontius Pilate brought to Rome by Saint Helen). The tour also includes some of the hidden treasures of Rome - the circular Church of Saint Stefano Rotondo, the Church of Santi Quattro Coronati, and San Clemente, the amazing 12th century basilica - with a 4th century basilica underneath, and an ancient Mithraem beneath that!
